Oakley Green Week Events 28th September – 6th October 2019
You may have seen information about this event in the Link Magazine and in emails from O.C.A.
Oakley Ramblers will be having a stall at the Green Week Fayre at St. Leonard’s Centre on Saturday 28th September from 1.30p.m. – 4p.m. This will be a great opportunity to publicise our club and hopefully attract a few new members. Three of our committee have kindly agreed to man this stall but they would really appreciate some support from members. Can you please spare just half an hour or an hour to attend the fayre and help promote our club? If you are able to help please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday 25th September and let me know the time you can attend so I can co-ordinate helpers.
On Sunday 29th September there will be a 3 mile Woodland Walk to Old Woodland Down Flower Meadow (towards Sainsbury’s) led by Barbara Robson starting from the Green Hut at 2p.m. We are invited to join this walk and have refreshments afterwards. Please let me know if you would like to go so that I can give them some idea of numbers.
On Tuesday 1st October there will be a presentation about the Malshanger Lavender Production at Malshanger Social Club. Be there at 5.45p.m. for a 6p.m. There will be some Malshanger lavender and mint products for sale and refreshments. Please let me know by Wednesday 25th September if you would like to attend this event.
I hope you will be able to support at least one of these events and raise the profile of our club within the village.
I look forward to hearing from you.
