Our next walk is in the diary for Friday 15th November and will be led by Sandra and myself. We were thinking that because of all the rain we have “enjoyed” recently the ground is going to be very wet and muddy so we are proposing to lead a treasure trail walk around Whitchurch similar to the one lead by Sandra around Basingstoke a few years ago.
We will meet at the school layby on Oakley Lane at 10.30 a.m. and drive to Whitchurch where we can park in the Bell Street car park. We should be able to begin the walk by 11a.m. The trail is about 2 miles long and will take about 2 hours to complete. It follows a set route with clues supplied for things to look out for along the way and which are fun and informative about the area.
In order to ensure we have enough copies of the trail clues leaflet we will need to know how many intend to come along. So please will you let Chris know by email at email@example.com by Sunday 10th November if you would like to join us.
We will make a decision about where to go for lunch afterwards once we have an idea of numbers. There are several options between Oakley and Whitchurch!
Many thanks and hope to see you there.
