If travelling directly to the start, we will meet in front of the information and toilet block, in area 5 of the car park. Parking is free on Sundays in the Park & Ride. |

| Walk description / difficulty | This is a relatively easy circular walk of 9.5 miles, starting at the Garnier Road Park & Ride Winchester, walking past St Catherine’s Hill and then on to the Pilgrim’s Trail, Monarch’s Way, through Twyford and then joining the Itchen Way back through St Cross and into Winchester. We will stop for tea in Winchester and then walk back to the Park & Ride. |
| Terrain | The walking is on good paths and bridleways; there is a short section of road walking in the middle. The route is mainly flat apart from a climb at the start on the Pilgrims way where there is a steady climb. |
