| Walk description / difficulty | Walking through Alresford and alongside the River Arle, through woodland on the Wayfarer’s Walk, alongside open fields and some short gentle ascents and descents. |
| Terrain | Flat paths beside the river, through woodland and beside fields. Short sections on tarmac roads. Some rain forecast beforehand so maybe a little mud in places |

| Where we are parking | Arlebury Park Recreation Centre, The Avenue, Alresford. On right hand side leaving Alresford, just past Perrins School on your left. Car Park fee is £2 for over 4 hours by cash or Ring Go. Suggest car sharing. |

| Directions to start of walk | Leave Basingstoke via Garlic Lane, Hatch Warren and drive to Alresford. Turn right at T junction in centre of Alresford and car park will be on your right, just past Perrins School. |
| Where we can eat/drink (If applicable) | Tiffin Tearooms in Alresford. Serving a large selection of sandwiches, soup, baked potatoes, salads and cakes. Please let me know if you wish to eat here and I will reserve places. |
| Other notes | Light rain is forecast prior to the day. Maybe a little mud in places. Suggest wearing walking boots rather than shoes. Poles not necessary unless you prefer to use them. Toilets are available at the Arlebury Park Recreation Centre. |
