Hello walkers
Pat has now tested out the walk planned for Sunday 26 July and there are a few minor amendments to the original notes. Otherwise notes are accurate.
Distance is around 9 miles
It is a lovely route with a mix of sun and shade, which will be a great benefit if the weather is warm and sunny.
Some impressive views at times and many opportunities to enjoy views of the River Test. Part of the route is on The Test Way.
The Plough looks to be a good spot for a drink but doesn’t open until 12.00, so whether it’s an option or not will depend on the pace of the walk as we may arrive too early.
